February 28, 2014 – the Institute of Agricultural Engineering, University of the Philippines – Los Baños (IAE -UPLB) chose Super Trade Enterprises to be part of their Educational Trip. Fifty students and five faculty members from Agricultural Machinery Division and the Agricultural Bio-process Division visited STE’s warehouse facility. Engr. Mark Twain Limbo, Service Manager and Engr. Jerome dela Cruz, Sales Engineer facilitated the tour.

This was the University’s 4th  visit to Super Trade warehouse. The visit aims to promote better appreciation and actual exposure of students to actual operation and use of different agricultural machineries. The participants were taught and were given the chance to experience operating a reaper and also driving a farm tractor.They were introduced to the principles behind different agricultural machineries and the basics of warehouse operations.

Mr. Heng Dong Lim, President of STE, gave his words of wisdom and message of inspiration to all the students. He also shared how he started as a struggling businessman and how he became who he is today. Likewise, Mr. Ryan Oliver Lim, Vice-President for Service and Spare Parts, encouraged the participants to have their own contribution in improving the agricultural landscape of the country.

The students and the faculty members were given water jugs, shirts, flashlights and ball pen as a gesture of appreciation for giving Super Trade a chance to take part in their learning.
